I've lost control of my blog!

I created a blog, https://sharelifefarm.wordpress.com/. I was chatting with someone at WordPress on Monday about how to do domain mapping with this blog. I’ve acquired the URL I want from GoDaddy, and I was going to follow the instructions she gave me. But now, I went to the URL she sent me, https://sharelifefarm.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains, but was told I don’t have admin access to this blog and should ask for it. Now, this is complicated by the fact that I’d accidentally created that blog using another WordPress login that I use to administer League of Women Voters pages, lwvcbc. I asked a WordPress person, also in a chat session, about how to get the ownership of https://sharelifefarm.wordpress.com transferred to brekhusr instead of lwvcbc, and she said she could do that for me, with my permission. I gave her my permission…but now it seems like my blog is not associated with EITHER of my accounts. Help!!

Note: the blog I need help with is NOT lwvmissouri.org, but sharelifefarm.wordpress.com. But the form would not let me select that.

You need to be logged in as the administrator of that blog. It’ll be faster if you just log in to that account and buy the upgrades.

Well, that’s the problem. I’m in the account, but this blog doesn’t show up as one of my blogs when I’m logged into my account.

What you need to determine is exactly how many username accounts you have and which one registered the blog in question.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden

Your last resort for gaining access is to complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access. Note there is a backlog so you have to be patient while waiting.

Thanks! I would have preferred to deal with this by email anyhow – it’s just that WordPress’ email assistance was down for several days, and the chat window either did not appear, or got cut off when I tried to type in the window.
