I’ve lost my blog!

  HI Guys

  I’m working on a new blog, setting it up as a website for my business. It’s almost ready to roll – and it’s hidden until It’s ready to go live.

  So hidden that I can’t find it. I was working on widgets, realigning them in the sidebar and having difficulty making them stick. When I went to preview the site there they were, when I went back to widgets they were gone. Despite saving each one and closing.

  I went to the dashboard from there – and it was the dashboard for my other blog. Now all trace of The Best Bit Yet is gone. The dropdown list under My Blog has lost the link to Manage Blogs, the way I normally access my hidden blog.

  Anything like this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions to find it again?

  What’s the actual URL of the blog? If it’s set to Private we won’t be able to open it, but we can help you find it. Is it maybe in your browser history?

  When I click on the link http://thebestbityet.wordpress.com/ it takes me to my blog – and then when I go to the dashboard it takes me straight to the dashboard for http://tillabrookcoaching.wordpress.com/ rather than thebestbityet.

  It’s highly frustrating to be able to see it and not do anything with it!

  Can you get to it from your Global Dashboard? It’s on the left of your admin bar, under My Account.

  Does it appear at all in the drop-down from the admin bar under My Blogs?

  Try a cookie dance: Log out, clear browser cache and cookies, and restart the computer.

  And I’m also going to do the cookie dance to see if normal service will be resumed.

  Glad to hear that you can still get in somehow. Also http://thebestbityet.wordpress.com/wp-admin should take you directly to the dashboard there. If it doesn’t, you may have to contact staff via your Help button on the dashboard.
