  I’ve stupidly put the wrong site address in the General Settings and locked myself out!

  How can I get WordPress to fix this for me?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  I am a little bit confused.
  Is kaisyngtan.com/magiccarpet a subdomain from kaisyngtan.com?
  That site appears to be a self-hosted WordPress.org site. If it is you will need to post your issue in the WordPress.org support forum located here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  Where did you put the redirect?
  Can you send a screenshot? That would be very helpful, thanks.

  kaisyngtan.com is not connected to WordPress.com as dolgelukkig has mentioned in her reply.

  I’m not certain that I understand your question. If you can share more details I’ll be happy to try and get you pointed in the right direction for help.

  There are 2 versions of WordPress. What we do here at WordPress.com is different from using the WordPress installation like you are using on kaisyngtan.com. This guide outlines some of those differences: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Hi there,

  If you can’t access WP Admin as a result of incorrectly changing the site address on your self-hosted site, you can change the site address again via phpMyAdmin or by editing wp-config.php.

  I’d recommend that you try contacting your host for support. If they’re familiar with WordPress, they should be able to help you with this.

  kaisyngtan.com/magiccarpet is a subdomain from kaisyngtan.com, yes.

  Unfortunately, I can’t send a screenshot because since changing the site address in error, I can no longer log in…

  There were two boxs within the Settings section of the Dashboard that both had the site address kaisyngtan.com/magiccarpet and I entered wesatonamatandhadachatandmademaps.weebly.com into the first of these boxes and since then everything has gone wrong…
