I’ve recently been getting way more spam and weird blog stats…

I’ve noticed lately that my views per day have gone from about 3 – 6 to 10 – 15. This is all coming from websites such as “mainlydiet.com/diet-news” or other spam-sounding websites like that. My email was recently hacked (about three days ago) and I got a post posted by email with the address “geilestorys.net” in the body. So now I have about 3 views per day apparently looking for “geilestorys.net”. I deleted that post, but it’s still showing up in Google.
(Not to mention that I’ve had my blog since February and I already have 47 spam comments; I don’t know if that’s normal.)
So, I’m relatively new to this, and I have to ask:
Is all the spam and my email being hacked related, by any chance? (Probably not, but you never know.)
What does it mean when all your traffic is coming from weird-sounding blogs like “http://cancer-victims.iblogger.org/what-is-cancer-staging”, especially when all of a sudden there is a huge spike in these sorts of websites?
What does it mean when most of my traffic is now also coming from the search result containing words that had been used to hack my email account?
Finally…there’s not anything I can do about this, is there? (Obviously I’ve changed my email and WordPress passwords…)The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It MAY be related, but probably not. There are weird referrers going around and the THEORY is that it’s just those people putting in, then removing, links to you to get you to click on them from your stats page going “Who the heck is that?”
Just wait it out and keep blogging, adding new content, and eventually you’ll drown out the garbage referrers with real ones.
You are probably seeing search results like that because hackers always like to google themselves to see what they’ve done. Google will eventually get rid of their record of the post, in a few months.

I just logged on to my account, which is wiped clean. I have no views, no subscriptions, nothing….and I had 4000 views this morning with 17 subscribers. I am contacting support. I dont get it

LOTS of issues going around: just look at all the threads in the forum. Wait it out and drop Staff a line via Support on your dashboard.
