  Can I import my iweb design into wordpress?

  No you can’t create your own theme or import another one. We do not have FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we not able to upload any third party themes.

  The only themes you can use on a free hosted WordPress.com blog are those found here > Appearance > Themes and showcased here > http://wordpress.com/themes/

  There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes anything at all stated clearly here > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you want to use any third party theme or build your own theme then don’t waste any time here at all. Purchase web hosting http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install. http://wordpress.org/ Then move your .wordpress.com blog content into it http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/

  Thanks. I have WordPress hosting (I think) and will try your last instructional paragraph. Thanks… also…

  I’m hoping to use my own design and have just one section for the blog. If that doesn’t work, could I just link to the wordpress blog from my site? Thanks again.

  You can link to any blog you want to from your site.
