Ixion theme – cannot set featured posts on home page

    Hello there, working on whatwebuild.co, and I’m reading the documentation for the Ixion theme, but have no luck getting the featured posts to display under the header image.

    From the documentation, “Featured Content is shown on the front page below the Site Tagline area. To add a post or page to Featured Content, give it the tag „featured,“ or another tag of your choosing set from Customize → Featured Content.”

    The problem is, there is no “Customize -> Featured Content” section. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi @freehamjobs,

    To find the Featured Content section, follow these steps:

    1 – log in to WordPress.com and click My Sites in the upper left corner. If you have multiple sites on your account, make sure to choose the correct one.
    2 – in the menu on the left, go down until you see Themes. Next to it, there’s a button called Customize. Click this.
    3 – now click Featured Content. In the Tag Name field, add the tag you’ve added for the posts/pages you want to display in the featured content area.

    Thank you for your help @jjberg83, but as the original post states, for some reason the”Featured Content” area literally doesn’t exist.

    Sorry, I thought you didn’t know where the “Featured Content” area was, not that it wasn’t where it was supposed to be.

    I should have noticed it earlier, but I see whatwebuild.co is a self hosted WordPress.org site. Would you please ask this question either in the theme specific forum or the general forum over at WordPress.org, since you’ll get better help with your WordPress.org issues there.
