Ixion Theme: Site Title on Mobile
-
I am using the Ixion theme and have a long site title, it looks great on desktop and tablet, yet when you get down to mobile the menu covers part of the site title. How can I fix this?
Thanks!!!!!!

Hi there!
There is a small issue with the alignment of the logo/title and menus at the moment, and the design team is looking into it :)
We’ll keep you posted when we have more info!

Hi There, I’m wondering if a simple fix would be to remove the word menu. I can’t find a way to target the mobile menu. Could you post the css so I can see how to change it. cheers

An interesting idea @joberrington :)
Give this CSS a try, it should hide the text, but leave the icon.
.main-navigation .menu-toggle { visibility: hidden; font-size: 0px; } .main-navigation .menu-toggle:before { visibility: visible; background-color: #a84c38; padding: .7em 1em; font-size: 14px; }It’s a little bit of a workaround, be kind of had to hide the whole thing and make it super small, then put the icon back to it’s original state.
It’s not perfect, but it does look like it helps a bit in some cases :)

Thanks so much Chad for getting back to me. I will try that.
This blip is such a shame as it’s a great looking site, really clean.

Just tried it, it looks awesome. Sorry my site is not ready to publish yet so I can’t put up a link but it works a treat.
Thank you again -

Hello!
I wanted to follow up and let you know that this issue has been fixed in the Ixion theme.
It has been updated so the site title and logo do not display as wide.
You should be able to remove the CSS work around that’s hiding the text on the menu toggle (unless you prefer it that way, of course!).
Just let us know if you have any questions, or run into further issues.
Thanks!
