Jammed PDF Removal?

Hi, nearly a year ago I requested that an online pub (using WordPress) remove a few PDFs from their website for me. The owner of the pub was happy to do so. Since then I’ve checked to see if the PDFs were removed, but they are still online. The owner assured me he removed them, so I used a Google tool designed to help remove content that has been deleted but that may still be cached. Google says the files still exist, however.
I contacted the owner of the pub again a couple days ago and he said there is nothing on his dashboard and that he is not showing the PDFs on his sites (and then got angry, God bless him). Anyhow, I read this thread of yours and thought this may be the problem:

If so, I’d love you to take a look to see if his deletions just got jammed somehow, too. I may owe this man an apology for being such a pest. Can you help me with this? Thank you.

That site is running on the wordpress.com platform.
I can tell you for sure, the owner of that site never removed these pdf-files from his media library. So you must contact him again and tell him to remove these fiels from his media library.
In case the owner won’t cooperate, we could call in Staff for help.

As you do not own the site, we’re not able to help you with this – I can’t even confirm whether or not the site owner has deleted those files from their media library.
The site owner will have to contact us directly if they need any help with this.
The only way that we will remove those files are if they violate your copyright, or if they contain personal information in violation of our terms of service, and in both those cases you’d need to report the site using the proper processes at either https://en.support.wordpress.com/copyright-infringement-what-to-do/ or https://en.support.wordpress.com/report-blogs/
We do not help with content removal requests in the public support forums, so I’m closing this thread to further replies.
