javascript and applet issues
-
Problem: My java applet doesn’t load fast enough and the javascripted form calls to early on the applet (I think). Anyway, result is an error on loading the applet. I’ve tried to:
– integrate a boolean like Appletloaded=false
– load the data in an Onload in the body tag
I read it’s better to get the javascripts out of the post , but don’t know how to do this ?I’ve tried most of the recommendations on javascripts and applets in wordpress, but nothing seems to work. Maybe I got just a ” wrong but I have next to no experience with javascripting.
Can someone help ? I’ve already spent hours on this and I think someone might clear the job in a few minutes …
Thanks

Well, most javascripts are not allowed as direct embeds on WordPress.com. The exceptions are listed in the FAQs. However you can embed most via VodPod. The Vod:Pod system allows more embeds that a direct embed in posts. It works in posts, pages and the Vod:Pod widget.
Install the VodPod button and register as a user at their site.

Since you are self-hosted and using the software downloaded from wordpress.org, you need to direct your question to http://wordpress.org/support/ . WordPress.com uses a multi-user version of the software which is different than what you are using and few, if any, here know anything about it.
