  Hey:)
  I am trying to import Javascript by URL from Elfsight, but every time I try it changes it to an a tag. Please help. I don’t want to use plugins

  The HTML code you can use on the wordpress.com platform is very limited – https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/custom-html-block/#supported-html-tags – and javascript is amongst the non-supported code.

  If you really want to use javascript on your site, you must upgrade to the Business Plan.
