Javascript Error

  After discovering my site had a 500 Server Error, I was forced to restart my site from a backup. However, since the backup, I am unable to make new posts with the Visual Window in the post editor. I can use the Text Window to make posts, but the Visual Window won’t save any text. I have installed a Debug widget and it uncovered the following error in the Javascript:
  Uncaught Error: Could not find control by type: wplinkpreview

  I have contacted the host and they were unable to fix my problem. I am aware that this is not a WordPress supported site, but the problem is in the interface. I have tried deactivating all plugins, cleared the browser cache and cookies, reset the theme and everything else the forums suggest, but nothing is working. Please help, I just want my blog back.
