Javascript in WordPress post Question

Hi! Help! I’ve googled and read so many things and I cannot figure it out and wondering if any of you run into the same issue.
I am trying to insert Amazon native ads (javascript) into my WordPress post. I tried the following methods and still cannot see the ad:
1. Insert the script directly into Text (html).
2. install shortcoder plugin, insert into post with the javascript saved in shortcoder.
I tried the same script in the widget section under “custom html” and it works there!!
I suspect that the javascript is disabled in my posts? I don’t even know how I did that.

I am trying to insert Amazon native ads (javascript) into my WordPress post.
WordPress.com supports JavaScript in its Business plan only. You can find an explanation about this here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
A quick search online showed plugins that enable what you mentioned you were trying to do for WordPress.org. This is different from WordPress.com, which is what you are using on your site. You can see the differences between the two here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Hi thank you for your response! I found a plugin where it solves my problem. Shortcoder is the plugin. And also it is for my wordpress.org site. Thank you again!
