Javascript Slideshow Problems?
-
At my blog http://jgburdette.wordpress.com I am having problems viewing my slideshow. When I preview my draft for the slideshow I get the message: This slideshow requires JavaScript.
I have looked through past topics on the forum here (i.e. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/slideshow-an-editing-pages-problems?replies=7) and have tried the possible solutions, but to no avail. Help please?

Are you using the Visual or HTML editor? Can you publish it as a test post (maybe date it well into the past so it doesn’t show up on the top of your blog) so we can look at it?
Nice blog, btw.

Thank you…I am using Visual But I’ll try it in HTML too.
I just published it. Here’s the link.

Thanks, you can take it down now. I think it must be a theme issue. I just tried the slideshow on one of my blogs, and it worked fine.
Report it to staff via your dashboard Help button.

I contacted support last Tuesday…While I am not in a rush how long does it take support to reply?

I’m sorry it’s taking Staff such a lonh time to get to your issue. I have flagged this thread for their attention.
Note: They provide support for 31 million so when we create a support ticket by contacting Staff it’s important to understand they have a backlog. Staff deal with the support tickets with the earliest dates first. So if we contact them more than once of the same issue the date moves forward and it takes longer to get help.

Will you be please be sure that JavaScript is enabled on your browser?

Try using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled.
Also be sure that your browser version is up to date. You can upgrade any browser version here. http://browsehappy.com/ -
Thanks, timethief. The add-ons have already disabled, browser is up to date and Javascript is enabled. Thanks anyway.

in one post, the slideshow inserted works fine, and in the next, I get “this slideshow requires JavaScript” message instead of the slideshow…
