Jet Pack is screwing up my WordPress Site
-
I have a WordPress.org self-hosted website that is also connected to WooCommerce. It didn’t initially do this, but something changed today and now my dashboard is permanently the WordPress.com dashboard and it is not working well with my Divi theme editor. I really prefer to use the wordpress.org dashboard, how do I use that and not have to remove the JetPack Plugin?

If you mean https://newcovenantcreations.com/ you’ll access the Dashboard at https://newcovenantcreations.com/wp-admin/
Jetpack allows you to manage your site on WordPress.com too, but it does not replace the old way of managing your site.

For some reason that no longer takes me to my original dashboard for WordPress.org. It keeps redirecting me to the WordPress.com Dashboard which is blue and much more confusing than the basic black WordPress.org dashboard. :(
So far, I can only manage my site on WordPress.com, WordPress.org no longer is an option.
I don’t know what I did, but I hope I didn’t totally screw it up.

When you land on the blue dashboard, what is the URL of your address bar?
If it’s not just
/wp-admin, but with a query string following, edit it in the address bar to remove that query string, and press Enter. Does that help?Else check if clearing the browser cache makes any difference.

Thank you, I cleared my cache and tried to go to just the /wp-admin as directed. It still is stuck on the blue dashboard for WordPress.com. :(

I truly don’t see anything that could be causing, so please ccess your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete the whole /jetpack/ directory there.
Once that’s done, you’ll be able to reinstall Jetpack normally from Plugins > Add New in your site’s Dashboard.
And, it should work normally after that.
