  having trouble deactivating and activating my jetpack so i can test the connection so i may use backup to show my previous site. please employ immediate attention to the matter.

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com is a managed hosting provider (in that we take care of server configuration, performance optimization, security, backups, etc.) and in this case our hosting platform depends on a working Jetpack connection in order to function properly.

  I’m not quite sure I’ve understood what you are trying to set up here. Can you tell us what you mean by “test the connection” so we can better help your? You are trying to use a backup of your site from a different provider (or trying to perform a migration of some kind?) or did you have something else in mind?
