  What is the difference between WordPress.com and Jetpack? Your use of the germs suggests that they are different. I have a wordpress.com a/c and it says it is jetpack! Please explain, in SIMPLE terms.

  Hello there,

  WordPress.com is the place that holds your site/blog, whereas Jetpack is a plugin/add-on to your WordPress.com site to provide additional functions to it.

  Some of the obvious functions of Jetpack on your site are the Stats page on your admin panel, showing the statistics of the visitors to your site and the themes gallery.
