Jetpack can’t communicate with your site

    Hi,
    I’m having an issue with Jetpack saying that it’s not connected and therefore I’m unable to make my website public.

    This comes after a subscription lapse, subsequent purchase of the Entrepreneur plan, restoration of plugins and website backup.

    Jetpack says it is active and connected in the Jetpack dashboard section. And the Jetpack debug tool says it’s connected as well with no issues. However in the Settings section of my website it says Jetpack is not connected and options to publish are greyed out.

    WordPress Support have responded once with a link to troubleshooting which is not helpful as I’ve tried all the steps there. Now it’s been two days and no response from Support.

    Would appreciate any assistance here as the website has now been down since Easter and revenue is at stake.

    Hi there!

    I’m sorry to hear about the issue you were facing. It looks like the site itself was okay, but the Jetpack connection between it and your WordPress.com account was somehow broken.

    We’ve just fixed the connection, so you should be able to work on the site now without any issues. Could you give it a try and let us know if everything’s working as expected?
