Jetpack Carousel not working

  Jetpack Carousel looks like an exciting feature, but I can’t for the life of me get it to work on my site. I’ve tried systematically deactivating all my other plugins until there’s nothing left active – still just the standard gallery.

  Is the Carousel automatic? Does it just replace all galleries with the Carousel? Obviously this isn’t working just now. Any ideas?

  Theme functions can sometimes interfere like plugins too. Please try temporarily switching to the Twenty Eleven theme and let us know if that makes any difference.

  I’ve temporarily switched from Fresh & Clean to Twenty Eleven and the Carousel now works.

  Still want to keep the Fresh & Clean theme, is there anything else I can do? If the Jetpack Carousel doesn’t work, are any other carousel plugins liable to work? Thanks.

  My best suggestion is to contact the original theme developer of Fresh & Clean to let him know that the theme doesn’t work with Jetpack Carousel to see if he’ll update it.

  Alternatively, you can also download Fresh & Clean through SVN, keeping in mind that it’s modified for use for the blogs hosted at WordPress.com:

  As for alternative image carousel plugins, I’m not familiar with any alternatives, but you can always search the WordPress.org Plugin Directory.
