Jetpack.com connection and other errors with this site.

    Hello, I have been appointed to fix this site and do NOT understand what is wrong with it.

    Upon logging into WP, I am unable to access the ‘my site’ button. When I click it, it says ‘please check your primary site’s jetpack connection’.

    When I navigate over to Jetpack and login, the only info that they tell me is to ‘Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection’. I also ran their debugger by putting /xmlrpc.php after the normal URL into the browser and when I hit enter the site is just a blank white screen.

    I’m really at a loss for what to do here, since I cant access the sites code at all I cant make any changes to fix it.

    Please let me know how to resolve this or if you have had any similar issues with Jetpack.

    Hi! It seems that there’s a problem with the XML RPC endpoint on your site. Jetpack requires access to the XML RPC file as found here:
    https://gspcmn.com/xmlrpc.php
    At the moment, it’s returning a blank page, while it should look like this example:
    https://jetpack.com/xmlrpc.php

    Problems accessing XML RPC could be due to another plugin, a security module, or a block on your server. As a first step to fixing this, I’d recommend contacting your host to see whether they block XML RPC and if so, to unblock it for Jetpack (they can find our IP range here https://jetpack.com/support/hosting-faq/). If that doesn’t work, you’ll want to get in touch with Jetpack’s support team via https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/.
