How do I turn off one of the features provided by Jetpack?

On the feature card explaining the feature you’d like to turn off, click the “Learn More” button. A “Deactivate” button will appear. Click that button and that feature will be completely deactivated.

    Did that. No deactivate button.

    > I just enabled comments

That is of course Jetpack comments – comments were already enabled.

  • Would you please try temporarily disabling all other plugins to see if there may be a conflict there?

Theme functions can sometimes interfere like plugins too, so if that doesn’t improve the situation, please try temporarily switching to the Twenty Eleven theme.

No way to just switch it off, then?

  • Just the comments? From the Jetpack section of your blog’s Dashboard, hit the “Learn More” button on the Jetpack Comments module.

The button to the right of that will then turn into a Deactivate button.
