Jetpack connected to wordpress.com, http 500 error – please unlink my account!
-
I connected JetPack to my (newly created just for this purpose) wordpress.com account and now am getting 500 error on my admin panel. Can’t access admin at all to deactivate the plugin.
Seems like this is a common problem. Can you please unlink the account asap?

I know it is self-hosted. But the problem is the connection to wordpress.com and your JetPack plug-in that crashed my admin panel. Please unlink the blog from my account!

Yes, staff will have to do that. I’ve modlooked this thread so they’ll see it. If you subscribe, then you will be notified when someone responds.

Hi there, I’ve disconnected http://www.sandrakitt.com from your account as requested.
If this ever happens in the future, you can disconnect the site quickly on your end by removing the Jetpack plugin from your plugins folder via FTP.
If you need any further Jetpack help, feel free to ask in our WordPress.org support forum over here and one of our Jetpack experts will be glad to lend a hand:

Thank you, but I am still seeing the error. I don’t have immediate access to the plugins folder. Is there any other way to fix this? Why isn’t it corrected by unlinking the account?

Why isn’t it corrected by unlinking the account?
It’s possible that your error is not related to the Jetpack connection between your WordPress.com site and your self-hosted site.
If you need further help troubleshooting issues with your self-hosted site, feel free to post in the WordPress.org forum to get help from one of the volunteers there:
Good luck!

The one thing I can say from experience is to check your error logs. If you don’t know where those are you can ask you web host about them and they will help you out. :)
