Jetpack connection

I already have a wordpress account, (as you can see) but I was considering letting it go. However, I just changed my mind, and went to do some work on it; put in a new theme, but when I try to go to My Site, I get this: Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection . (this was the reason I almost gave up in the first place.) What do I need to do?

I’m afraid that, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
