Re-connect Jetpack?

  • Unknown's avatar

I have wordpress 3.2 setup as a network. When I click Jetpacks Connect to WordPress I get this error. My other 8 sites on network are connected with Jetpack.

Invalid request, please go back and try again.
    Error Code: invalid_client
    Error Message: Unknown client_id.

    Thanks in advance Muz

My apologies! Something went wrong when the Jetpack plugin tried to authenticate, can you please de-activate the plugin from the Plugins section in your dashboard, reactivate it, and try again? That should do the trick.

Let us know if we can be of any more help!

    Thanks Hanni,

Yes I gave that a go with no success, even deleted the plugin and reinstalled.

    What should I do next?

  • Hm, the only other option could be a plugin conflict.

Please try deactivating and deleting the plugin again. Then, before reinstalling, temporarily deactivate all other plugins.

Assuming this works, you can safely reactivate your other plugins after Jetpack is active and configured.

Works like a charm M, it’s all scary deactivating on a network. Thanks Muz
