Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: token_http_request_failed

  When attempting the connection with WordPress I get this error “Could not contact WordPress.com Jetpack: token_http_request_failed.” I have tried several ways to see where they exit.

  Anyone have any idea.

  Hi there,

  Would you be able to let me know what host server you’re using? Additionally, can you let me know if your server may be blocking Jetpack for any reason?

  Similarly, what version of WordPress and Jetpack are you using?

  As additional reference material, a handful of users in the WordPress.org Support forums have come across the same error that you’re experiencing:

  Its a own server.

  WordPress 3.2.1.
  jetpack 1.1.3

  I’m sorry, can you clarify if you’re hosting your site on your own server?

  If so, would you be able to provide me with some more information regarding your server set up? For example, can you let me know the PHP version number that you’re using?Additionally, do you access your site admin over HTTPS or HTTP?

  Lastly, are you using any other plugins on your WordPress.org site?
