Jetpack crashing site

  After the last wp update, jetpack crashed my site. My web admin disabled it and it fixed the issue, told me to reinstall Jetpack. When I did, my site crashed again. Had to disable again. Is this an ongoing issue? Can I no longer use Jetpack? What can I use instead?
