Jetpack > Dashboard — Get 404 Not Found

Just starting to get a new site up and running… my domain is (example) foobar.ai, and I’m in the https://foobarai.wpcomstaging.com/wp-admin/index.php site.

When I try to go to Jetpack > Dashboard, it’s trying to go to https://foobar.ai/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack#/dashboard and showing a 404 Not Found error.

I haven’t pushed anything to production yet (foobar.ai — again, just an example) so everything just lives on the wpcomstaging.com subdomain.

Is this expected behaviour for Jetpack, or, can someone help me diagnose why it’s connecting to foobar.ai vs. foobarai.wpcomstaging.com? (I’m new to WP, so not sure if the question makes sense…)

    Hi there!

I’m sorry to hear that you were having trouble with Jetpack on your site. I wasn’t able to log in since the WordPress.com Login option was disabled. If you’re still seeing the 404 error on the Jetpack dashboard link, could you please enable WordPress.com Login on this page? We can do it from our end too; I just wanted your permission before making that change and troubleshooting the issue further.

    Thanks!

Either one of my devs figured it out, or, the Jetpack issue auto-magically solved itself. (Maybe I just had to wait for some settings to propagate…not sure.) Anyway…it’s all resolved now!
