Jetpack disappeared and won't let me re-install as it says the file exists
-
Hi. I recently updated Jetpack. Since then, I can’t access it in my plugins menu and when I try to download and install a new one it won’t let me and it says this:
Destination folder already exists. /home/content/p3pnexwpnas06_data01/26/2464026/html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/
Plugin install failed.
Jetpack is a great plugin and it’s really bumming me out not to have it. I thought the issue would resolve itself, but it hasn’t. Please help if you can.
Thanks,
Peter

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Some JetPack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the JetPack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackIf you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_PageHowever, if you can’t find help at either one then you can file a JetPack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service

Thanks very much. That’s really helpful. I’m sure I’ll figure it out now. Thanks for your time.
