Jetpack disappeared and won't reinstall
-
After I updated to WordPress 4.2.2, Jetpack disappeared and I no longer have any access to stats. When I try to reinstall Jetpack, I get this message:
Downloading install package from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/jetpack.3.5.3.zip…
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. /home/content/05/7642005/html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/
Plugin install failed.
Return to Plugin Installer
This has been going on for a couple of weeks (since April 23rd) How do I fix this?

Some JetPack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the JetPack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackWordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_PageHowever, if you can’t find help at either one then you can file a JetPack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
