Jetpack Error

  I have just registered a domain with HostGator yesterday lovingandlivingover40.com that I set up a WordPress blog on. I am trying to activate the Jetpack plugin and I am getting this error…Invalid request, please go back and try again.
  Error Code: invalid_request
  Error Message: Mismatch in redirect_uri.
  I have already contacted HostGator and they told me to do not use the link to get the plugin. Go to the internet and download it from there which I did. However, once I go into settings I get the same error. Hostgator them referred me to you. Thanks for amy help that you can provide.
