Jetpack followers Transfer

  I didn’t see my first responses on the previous thread.

  I need to transfer from ryanmoreno.wordpress.com to ryanmoreno.com (wordpress.org site). I have jetpack installed.

  If any staff could help me that would be amazing!!

  Hi ryanmoreno,

  It doesn’t look like anyone confirmed your follower transfer in that previous thread, so I’d be glad to help you out.

  However, I do not see a site at ryanmoreno.com connected to this WordPress.com account. Please check that you have Jetpack installed and connected to your ryanmoreno account, and then let me know.

  Ok, Let me double check that tonight. Do I do that from my jetpack plugin on ryanmoreno.com?

  Hi ryanmoreno,

  I’m not sure what’s happening on your end, but the site http://ryanmoreno.com is not connected to Jetpack on our end.

  Can you please check that the above URL is the correct path to your Jetpack site and that this site is connected to your ryanmoreno account on WordPress.com? You may need to disconnect and reconnect Jetpack.

  You have another site connected to Jetpack. Is that the site you wish to have your followers transferred to, or do you want them transferred to ryanmoreno.com?

  Yay, now your site is connected and I can see it! :)

  Your WordPress.com subscribers and email followers have been transferred as requested.

  Please note that any WordPress.com followers who opted to receive email updates will need to re-subscribe again on your new site through the Jetpack signup box, otherwise they’ll only see new posts in their Reader. Non-WordPress.com email subscribers will continue to get email updates.

  You might thing about setting up a Site Redirect for your WordPress.com site at ryanmoreno.wordpress.com to send your site visitors to your new domain. Otherwise, people will still be able to subscribe on your old site.
