    An open letter to Jetpack and WordPress (since they have removed all contact)

    I purchased the backup for one reason… so that I could contact them (jetpack) directly with any of my questions.

    I’ve been using it since 2011 and it has always worked well but they have been worming their way into my website and my wallet more and more for the past few years. Now they want to hold my stats hostage until I give them $100-$200 per year. My blog gets lots of traffic but has never been a money maker.

    I don’t mind them making money (we all would like that) But transparency in what their plans are is what I want. They are hoping that they are making themselves so indispensable that we can’t get rid of them…

    They are forcing me to try. But I believe they are WordPress and WordPress is them… Which means my blogging days may come to a halt
