Jetpack installation issue

  Hello there,

  I have just installed Jetpack on my site, when trying to complete the installation i receive the following message:

  Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [IXR -32300: transport error: http_request_failed Couldn’t resolve host ‘www.edc.org.kw’]

  I dont have any clue what’s causing the problem.

  I have disabled all other plugins, the disabled Jetpack and re-enabled it again before re-trying the connection to no luck

  please assist

  FYI , xmlrpc.php is in working state and have permissions as 644
