Jetpack interferring with comments

  I am self-hosted on wordpress but installed jetpack so I could publish on wordpress.com. Just lately people can’t reply to the comment thread. Their comments are just added to the end. I have disabled the jetpack plug in and the comments are working properly now. However, I would still like to have the posts publish to wordpress.com from my self-hosted wordpress. Can this be done?

  Hi there,

  What is your site’s address, please? The Jetpack plugin has a commenting system built in, but it sounds like you’re using the Core software’s comments or another commenting plugin, correct?

  If that’s the case, you can disable the comments-module for Jetpack as explained here:

  I have disabled Jetpack for the moment but when I have it enabled it uses the Jetpack comment system and then people can’t reply to comments. I will look at your link.
