Jetpack Lightbox
-
Hello,
I searched in the forums for solving my problem, but did not find a solution yet. Maybe you could help? I’m using the Sketch theme on my own host. I installed Jetpack for the portfolio option. Now I want my pictures to open in a lightbox on clicking. Whatever I try, it does not work.
Maybe it’s too obvious to see?Thank you

Hi there,
Since your site is self-hosted, you will want to head over here:
https://wordpress.org/support/
Here is a link explaining the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org:
Hope that helps!

fsillustration – Jetpack portfolio projects do not open in a lightbox; they open in a new page. There isn’t a way to change that when using the portfolio functionality in Jetpack.
tifanne83 – if you aren’t able to help folks with questions like these about an Automattic theme, please just modlook the question for staff rather than sending folks away immediately and asking them to start over again in another support venue. Also, when referring folks to WordPress.org, please do link folks to the specific theme’s forum (if the theme is available on WordPress.org) rather than the general one, as theme developers follow their own themes’ forums but are unlikely to spot a question elsewhere. Thanks!
fsillustration – the Sketch theme forum is here:

You’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here:

kathrynwp – Thank you so much! Now I can stop searching for my fault. That Carousel thing nearly drove me mad…
Have a nice day!
