JetPack no longer connecting to share/publicize
-
This is the error I am receiving:
500 status code for “POST /sites/96368288/publicize-connections/new”I saw a post on the .org support and the suggestion for fixing it was to disable all plugins, reconnect, and then enable plugins again.
I am reluctant to do this as this was a solution for another problem six months ago, and disabling all our plugins made it much worse.
Can someone please offer other information on how to fix it? I am Editor-in-chief and webmaster for the site. No one else on staff has sufficient background to be able to offer anything to assist me.
Thanks very much!

By the way, I am Woofer McWooferson. John is the owner of the site, and I work closely with him.

Hi there,
Looks like your xmlrpc.php is turned off and this is preventing Jetpack to properly communicate with WordPress.com.
To fix this please contact your hosting provider (GoDaddy) and ask them to turn on that file.
If you need to further troubleshoot this issue I suggest contacting Jetpack directly:
or post in their forum:
