Jetpack not communicating with website- e-mail signup form not working

Tried all the troubleshooting tricks: disabled all plugins 1 by 1, checked known issues (no plugin or theme that I use appears there), checked the XMLRPC bit, disconnected and re-connected Jetpack to no avail.
Was also under the impression that paid accounts would still have support, but kept getting redirected to the 9/11- 9/18 vacation page.
Please help! Thank you!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

My website is not on org :( and the contact support page pretty much says “sorry but we are gone for a week, kthanks” :(

My apologies, I see now that you have a Business plan upgrade on your site? If so, please make sure you are logged in with the username that purchased the upgrade and then you should be able to post directly through the contact form at https://wordpress.com/help/contact
Staff support is indeed limited this week, but you’ll see their availability there. Sorry for the confusion.

That is very strange. When I tried to submit a support request at https://wordpress.com/help/contact it was directed to email support. I can also see their current LC availability on that page.
Regardless, I’ve gone ahead and tagged this for Staff assistance, but again, replies will be delayed a bit. Thanks for your patience.
