Jetpack Optimizing Banner Images

    Hi, we turned off Jetpack’s image accelerator option in the settings, but noticed our main slider images are still being optimized through Jetpack and we don’t want that. We tried to deactivate and reactivate the Jetpack plugin, but that didn’t work. Here’s an example of one of our slider’s and the URL..

    Hi there!

    You’ve posted to the free support forums for websites hosted here at WordPress.com. Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

    I do know that there are some features in Jetpack that will still use the image accelerator even if the overall feature is disabled (like Tiled Galleries), but I couldn’t find a definitive list on their website.

    I’d reach out to their support team with a link to the slider in question and they should be better able to advise why and possibly help disable the feature.
