JetPack plugin

  I purchased a theme from WordPress.com and this theme is telling me I need the JetPack plugin in order to customize the way I want. This is not available to me. Please add the Jetpack plugin.

  Are you still referring to the Luxury premium theme you mentioned in your previous forum thread?

  The last question I had on the forum was about emptying the content. That has been taken care of. I am still using the Luxury Premium theme, yes.

  @fromthebathtub: All of the features that come with Jetpack are automatically included as part of WordPress.com by default. You therefore don’t need to manually install the plugin.

  Plugins can only be installed on sites that are hosted outside of WordPress.com and running on the free software available at WordPress.org. (If you’re unsure on the differences between the two types of WordPress then this guide gives a good overview.)

  Can I ask where you saw the message about Jetpack?

  If it was in documentation outside of WordPress.com, then the message was aimed at people who aren’t hosting their sites here. The theme’s documentation that’s specific to WordPress.com sites can be found here:

  If you saw the message somewhere on WordPress.com then that’s an error on our end. Please point me to the specific page it can be viewed on and I’ll look into getting it fixed.
