Jetpack plugin gives me registration secret error

My site is giving me this error at the top of the jetpack plugin page in the WordPress dashboard.
The registration secrets sent by your site do not match the ones the Jetpack server has on record.
The site is not hosted on wordpress.com. I contacted my host already and they said to contact plugin vendor for help with this. Also when I click the setup jetpack button I get “An error occurred. Please try again.”
I also tried this: /xmlrpc.php and it is correct.
Does anyone have an answer? Is my host just to lazy to fix it?

The plugin is active. Just won’t let me do setup.
