Jetpack pricing plan – security 10GB

Hi, I’m interested in purchasing Jetpack Security 10 GB, but I see discrepancies in the prices listed on the website. Under this link https://cloud.jetpack.com/partner-portal/issue-license, the price for Security 10 GB is $9.73 per month, while on this page: https://cloud.jetpack.com/partner-portal/prices, the price is significantly higher and amounts to $29.95 per month. Could I request information on why these prices differ so much and which one is correct? Initially, I am interested in a monthly plan and I wanted to note that we are an agency. Additionally, I would like to know whether we need to have a website connected before making a purchase, or can this be done later?

The different prices you’re seeing represent two different types of pricing: standard Jetpack.com pricing and Agency/Pro Pricing. The $29.95 price you see on the second page is the standard rate listed under Jetpack.com. However, since you mentioned that you are an agency, you’ll be eligible for our special Agency/Pro Pricing.
The $0.36/day listed under the Agency/Pro Pricing column is the rate for you as an agency. So, you can indeed go ahead and consider this as your rate for the Jetpack Security 10 GB plan.
As for billing, all agencies are billed monthly when issuing licenses via the Pro Dashboard. The pricing table merely shows the annual and monthly prices for comparison purposes, so there’s no need to worry about an annual commitment if you prefer a monthly plan.
Regarding your question about connecting a site, you absolutely can issue a license without having a site connected first. However, it’s important to know that this license needs to be assigned to a connected site at some point. Please note that issued licenses are billed even if they are not assigned yet. To stop being billed for a license, that license has to be revoked.
