  Hey, it seems like my profile on jetpack.pro/profile/neverything is connected with a .com account that I don’t remember or have anymore. Could you please help me get it back as I need to update the fairly outdated data about me.

  From what I can tell, that profile appears to be tied to the WordPress.com account you are using to post here (neverything). What happens when you try the “Log in with WordPress.com” button there? Are you seeing an error message?

  Hi gemmacevans,

  When I log in to jetpack.pro with my WordPress.com account, it asks for my WordPress.org profile. But when I try using neverything, I get the following message:

  It appears someone has already claimed this username. Check to see if you have claimed this username under a different WordPress.com account.

  That’s the only thing I see, so it seems that it somehow lost the connection.

  Can you clarify that part? Let us know the exact wording; we’ll see if we can sort out what’s going wrong.

  I made an additional support request at jetpack.com.

  Here are the steps I’m taking in trying to edit my jetpack.pro profile:

  1. Log in with my WordPress.com account
  2. The site asks to connect my WordPress.org profile (see screenshot)
  3. I enter my w.org profile name neverything
  4. The message “It appears someone has already claimed this username. Check to see if you have claimed this username under a different WordPress.com account.” appears and retry doesn’t change anything (see screenshot)
