Jetpack problems, widgets disappeared.

I recently uploaded to a Pro account – and since then a number of my widgets have disappeared, are not even on the widgets page to put back (Facebook page, Twitter Feed). There’s also no ‘sharing’ option under setting to put the social media buttons back.
I wonder if this is to do with problems I started to have with Jetpack, which cannot be found in dashboard, and fails every time I try to download. I’ve tried deleting Jetpack and reinstalling it.
Some members have said I’ll need to get a web developer – I don’t understand why I should have to do that when it was working fine before.

That’s not a WordPress.Com hosted blog and we do not provide support for any blogs that are not hosted by WordPress.COM.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
