Jetpack removes ads installed via wp-Insert

    I just installed Jetpack on an established multi-author website that carries ads–a very few ads, some keyed to invididual authors, while others go to support the site.

    The ones entered using wp-Insert vanished with Jetpack. They reappear once Jetpack is disabled.

    Is there a specific module that would be conflicting that I could disable? I have so many authors on this site I really don’t want to break it. And it’s not a “blog”. This is not a .com site.

    I noticed that several other people have issues and conflicts with the plugin. You might want to consider looking for a replacement plugin that is still supported by its author, because you’re likely going to run into more conflicts as time goes on.

    Actually, it was just upgraded, but I hadn’t applied the upgrade yet. Even after I do, Jetpack still blocks this plugin.

    Hi there – the plugin dev reports that they’re running both WP-Insert and Jetpack:

    Could you try deactivating all plugins except WP-Insert and see if it works? Then reactivate each plugin, except for Jetpack, and check the site after each reactivation. If the problem doesn’t come back, in the last step, reactivate Jetpack. If the problem reappears, you might try deactivating all Jetpack modules and reactivating one-by-one to discover if one in particular is the culprit. Please let me know how it goes.
