Jetpack reporting outages
-
Hello.
I receive multiple emails per day about my website being down. However, I deleted the site connection in my wordpress.com account and the site is no longer functioning??
———————————
This is the message:Hi jdvwellness,
We’re following up on the recent Jetpack Monitor alert we sent. It appears that your site http://jdvwellness.com is still down, and has been for 1 hour.
At this point, you’ll probably want to reach out to your hosting provider to determine the cause of the outage.
We’ll continue monitoring your site, and will let you know when it’s up again.
Cheers,
The Jetpack Team

Then I will receive this message:Hi jdvwellness,
Good news — your site http://jdvwellness.com is back up!
Your total downtime was 1 day, but your site was up again as of Sunday, November 13, 3:05 am.
If it goes down again at some point (we hope it doesn’t!), we’ll be in touch.
Cheers,
The Jetpack Team

————–I don’t know how to disconnect the monitor because the site no longer exists? But the messages just keep coming ad nauseam?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!

Hi @mstonewell, I don’t see you on that site, but I do see another user. Can you head to wordpress.com/me/account and confirm that the email address listed there is the one these notices are addressed to?
My guess is that they’re being sent to a different address, and if you’ll log in as that user, you can disconnect or get in touch with us here as that user so we can disconnect for you.

Aha… I was in under another account that apparently had the same site included. I signed in under the email address I was receiving the notifications and found the correct site to disconnect jetpack. I believe the issue is fixed now. Thanks for the tip on the email address. That was the missing ingredient!
