Jetpack Share or Social Buttons

    Is there a fix for Jetpack Share Buttons? They’ve been malfunctioning for a while for the WP 2014 theme on a WP .com site (off-count, they take a while to populate with the count numbers, buttons not showing up sometimes, especially Facebook, or they show up in text-only format, hyperlinked, misaligned vertically).
    I turned it off and tried AddToAny, which I had hovering as a back-up because AddToAny’s unpredictability. I turned Jetpack back on today because the AddToAny buttons are not showing a count at all for any of the platforms, except for the Facebook Like button – which is feeding off the FB Share button.

    Hi there,

    Most share buttons for most services don’t show counts any more, because the various services no longer supply share counts via their API that can be displayed on the buttons. There is nothing anyone can do about that.

    That said, this forum provides support for sites hosted on WordPress.com, and we cannot help with WordPress sites at other hosts.

    This is most likely being caused by a conflict with another plugin, though, so first I’d try disabling all plugins except Jetpack to see if that helps, and if it does, re-enable your plugins one at a time until it breaks again to determine which one is causing the problem.
