jetpack site stats not working

    When I click on jetpack site stats, I get this error message:

    User Agent: “Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0”
    Page URL: “http://www.stevewallet.com/blog/wp-admin/admin.php?page=stats&noheader”
    API URL: “http://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?noheader=true&proxy&page=stats&blog=36542811&charset=UTF-8&color=fresh&j=1:2.1.2”
    http_request_failed: “Failure when receiving data from the peer”
    On dashboard, under incoming links is: RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Failure when receiving data from the peer

    Using theme 2011 with no changes, wordpress 3.5.1
    Same problem if I use firefox or chrome to log-in.
    Isn’t a plug-in conflict, occurs when all turned off

    Please provide simple suggestions for non-technical me.
