Jetpack Social doesn’t work

Publicize, and now Jetpack Social, has always been janky. It historically hasn’t posted consistently and or even at all across our social platforms. Sometimes it posts certain categories, but not consistently. I tried disconnecting and resetting everything, but now it doesn’t post any category to any social platform at all, period.
I know this is a problem for other folks — I welcome advice in solving it.
