  I cannot reconnect facebook for sharing. I’ve followed the steps to remove jetpack from facebook, via business integrations, I’ve tried this on Windows:Edge, Windows:Chrome, Windows:Firefox, MacOS 14:Safari, MacOS 13: Safari, MacOS 14:Firefox, MacOS 13:Chrome.

  After removing jetpack from facebook and clicking the ‘connect’ button on Marketing and Integrations, I get a pop up – I’ve tried disabling all security features in several of the browsers – the pop-up has me log in to facebook and authorize jetpack, and then the window closes, and WP hasn’t received the confirmation.

  I’m trying right now in a new install of chrome on Win 11:

  First, I get this error after clicking ‘Connect’ to facebook, in the parent window:

  I sign in to Facebook in the pop-up and complete the 2FA by tapping on my phone.

  Now I click ‘Continue as Oliver’, there’s a spinner, the pop-up closes, and the operation fails on a cross-domain operation.

  Failed to execute ‘postMessage’ on ‘DOMWindow’: The target origin provided (‘https://public-api.wordpress.com’) does not match the recipient window’s origin (‘https://wordpress.com’).
