jetpack states the link has been blacklisted

    Hello wordpress.I bought this url and when trying to ativate jetpack i got the feedback the url has been blacklisted

    Since your domain is hosted at GoDaddy, not WordPress.com we can’t help you from here. This forum can only help with issues regarding sites hosted here.

    But I noticed that you Domain Status is ‘clientRenewProhibited’, among other prohibitions. That specific one usually means that there’s a problem with your domain and you should contact your provider. Sometimes there isn’t a problem but it’s good make sure.

    clientRenewProhibited on a domain simply means there’s a lock on the domain at the registrar to prevent unauthorised changes. A domain status like that has no effect on a Jetpack connection – the only way a domain status could affect a Jetpack connection is if the domain was expired, in redemption, or suspended, because that would render the site in accessible :)
