Jetpack stats disappeared

I just lost my Jetpack stats, and am hoping that I can get some help recovering them.

I recently migrated my wordpress site (http://csanyk.com/rants) to a new host. The domain name is the same, and my Jetpack stats initially carried over once I migrated my database over.

Once I was set up and running on the new host, I re-homed my wordpress install, using these instructions, so that the home page was no longer at csanyk.com/rants, but at csanyk.com. When I got that working, my Jetpack stats were still there.

Two days ago, I got an SSL certificate and switched the site over to serving everything by HTTPS. My Jetpack stats were still there after I got that working.

Today, I’ve been chasing down all 404 errors and 301 redirects that I can find on the site, and also have been trying to fix some inconsistencies with internal links on my site pointing at http urls that now should be https.

As well, I noticed that a good number of the redirects in my log were from Jetpack trying to hit the old home url (csanyk.com/rants) which now redirects to https://csanyk.com. So I did a find/replace operation in my database, and then noticed a about a minute later that my Jetpack stats had reset.

I am pretty sure that something I did in the database find/replace operations caused the stats to disappear. I have a recent backup of the database and can restore it if need be. But I’d like to confirm that was indeed the cause of the problem, and not one of the earlier changes that I made having a delayed response from Jetpack due to some kind of lag.

If restoring the database from this morning is what is called for, is it possible that I may only need to restore a certain table (or tables) in order to recover my old Jetpack stats? If so, which table(s) do I need?

    Thanks in advance:)

I just restored the database backup that I had created earlier today, prior to the stats getting rest, and upon restoring the stats are still gone. It seems the problem was therefore not caused by the find/replace actions that I did to the database around the time that the stats got reset.

    What do I do?

It sounds like when you connected Jetpack to the new URL, it thought it was a new site. I’ve attempted a merge of your stats from your old install to your new one. Please let me know if it worked.

I’ve also migrated your WordPress.com and email subscribers to your new URL for you.
